View Available Patches

You can view a list of patches you can apply to an Oracle Big Data Cloud cluster by using the service console. Applicable patches are automatically available to the clusters to which they can be applied.

To view available patches:

  1. Open the service console. See Access the Service Console for Big Data Cloud.

  2. Click the name of the cluster for which you want to check patching.

    The Big Data Cloud Overview page is displayed.

  3. Click the Administration tile and then click the Patching tab.

    The Big Data Cloud Patching page is displayed. A list of patches you can apply appears in the Available Patches section.

Note:

If patches are available for a cluster you'll also see a notification on the Instances page in the service console for Big Data Cloud.
