QuickStart a Data Integration Platform Cloud Classic instance
Before You Begin
This tutorial shows you how to create a Data Integration Platform Cloud Classic instance by using a QuickStart template. Your instance will be available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Classic. While this tutorial takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, it doesn't include the wait time for the instance to be created.
Last Updated: January 2019, Release 18.4.3
Background
For this tutorial, you use the DIPC QuickStart template which is pre-configured to create two instances in the following order:
Each of these instances are configured on one virtual machine. These two instances are configured to see each other and the schemas for the DIPC instance are stored in the database instance. Neither of these instances have a backup option.
These instances are used for creating sandbox environments or other cases that don't require backup and recovery. The QuickStart templates gives you the fastest and easiest way to create an Oracle Data Integration Platform Cloud Classic instance.
