Welcome to Oracle Digital Assistant!

If you don't already have a service instance of Digital Assistant, see the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure docs for information on provisioning and setting up instances.

Note:

New orders of Oracle Digital Assistant are only available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (also sometimes referred to as the Gen 2 infrastructure). It is no longer possible to provision on Oracle Digital Assistant on Oracle Cloud Platform (also sometimes referred to as the Gen 1 infrastructure).

The rest of this guide is devoted to administration of existing instances on Oracle Cloud Platform.

About Oracle Digital Assistant

Digital Assistant is an environment for creating digital assistants and then deploying them on the channel of your choice. With Digital Assistant, you create:

  • Digital assistants, which are virtual concierges that help users accomplish a variety of tasks in natural language conversations. Functionally, a digital assistant is a master chatbot that has a portfolio of skills.

  • Skills, which are individual bots that are focused on specific types of tasks, such as tracking inventory, submitting time cards, and creating expense reports.

You can add skills to digital assistants or deploy them to a channel on their own.
