What’s new in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate

Learn about new features and enhancements recently added to improve your OCI GoldenGate experience.

When new and updated features are available for OCI GoldenGate, instances are upgraded in the data centers where Oracle Cloud services are hosted. Changes to the Oracle Cloud Console take affect automatically, but OCI GoldenGate deployments must be manually upgraded to stay within the support window.

Data Verification	Oracle GoldenGate Veridata is now available in OCI GoldenGate. You can now compare and repair data without disrupting ongoing processes. Learn more: About data verification What's supported for data verification Create data verification resources
Disaster Recovery	Before you perform switchover to a remote peer, you can now run a precheck process to ensure your resources’ secrets are replicated and accessible to the remote peer. Learn more.
ZeroETL Pipelines	Enhancements added to ZeroETL Pipelines include: Added Object Storage support for Initial Load Clone pipelines
New documentation links	Update your bookmarks! Your OCI GoldenGate articles now have new urls.
Service changes	Take a look at the latest Service Change announcements and take action on any changes that affect your deployments.
REST APIs	The GoldenGate Service REST API reference was refreshed to reflect the recent feature releases and updates.
New GoldenGate versions available	New GoldenGate data replication versions for Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Db2 for z/OS, Db2 for i, and Big Data are now available. New OCI GoldenGate Data Transforms and Stream Analytics builds are also available. Ensure that you upgrade your deployments as soon as you can to leverage the newest features and security fixes. See OCI GoldenGate versions. Note: Beginning April 2027, all 21c data replication deployments will auto upgrade to the latest available release version. Release dates may differ between regions.
