Prerequisites for Creating a Connection
You must satisfy the following prerequisites to create a connection with the Oracle Unity Adapter.
Obtain the Oracle Unity URL
Purchase a subscription to Oracle Unity. When you subscribe, you receive an Oracle Unity instance URL. You specify this URL when creating a connection on the Connections page.
Obtain the Resource Owner Password Credentials Security Policy Values
When you create an Oracle Unity Adapter connection on the Connections page, you must specify the following values when
configuring the Resource Owner Password Credentials security policy. Oracle Unity
provides documentation on how to obtain these values. See Authenticate with OAuth
2.0.
- Access token URI
- Client ID and client secret
- Username and password
- Scope
