3 Add the FTP Adapter Connection to a Basic Routing Integration

When you drag the FTP Adapter into the invoke area of a basic routing integration, the Adapter Endpoint Configuration Wizard appears. This wizard guides you through the configuration of the FTP Adapter endpoint properties.

These topics describe the wizard pages that guide you through configuration of the FTP Adapter as an invoke in an integration. If you configure the FTP Adapter as an invoke connection in an integration, then any adapter can be configured as the trigger connection in that same integration.

Note:

Basic routing integrations in which you include the FTP Adapter to transfer files (sometimes known informally as file-A) have been deprecated. As an alternative, create an orchestrated, scheduled integration in which you include the FTP Adapter and a parallel-for-each action to transfer and manage files. Note that you can still clone and import this type of basic routing integration.

Note:

The FTP Adapter configuration differs slightly when used in orchestrated integrations. That version of the wizard is described in Add the FTP Adapter Connection to an Orchestrated Integration.
