Oracle SOA Suite Adapter Restrictions

Note the following Oracle SOA Suite Adapter restrictions.

  • Callbacks in SOAP services exposed by SOA composite applications and Oracle Service Bus projects are not supported. For this reason, the Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM) oracle/wsaddr_policy security policy is ignored.
  • The following SOAP features are not supported:
    • Two-way SSL
    • Specifying the TLS version to use
  • Request/response media types other than any form of XML/JSON are not supported.
  • End-to-end JSON-based REST services exposed by SOA composite applications are not supported.
  • Native REST services exposed by Oracle Service Bus projects are not supported.

Note:

There are overall service limits with Oracle Integration. A service limit is the quota or allowance set on a resource. See Service Limits.
