Link an Issue to a Merge Request

Linking issues to a merge request enables you to resolve them automatically when you merge or close a merge request:

  1. Open the merge request.
  2. Click the Linked Issues tab.
    The tab displays issues linked to the merge request.
  3. To link an issue to the merge request, enter the issue summary text or the issue ID in the Search and Link Issues search box, select the issue from the drop-down list, and click Save OK.
