Canceling Running Transaction Matching Jobs

Certain types of running Transaction Matching jobs can be cancelled from the User Interface.

Canceling running jobs enable users to efficiently manage job execution and system resources. Long-running jobs can be canceled before they complete.

Prerequisites

• You must be a Service Administrator or the user who created the job
• Only Auto Match jobs and Purge Transactions jobs (simple purge and purging archived transactions) can be cancelled

Steps to Cancel Running Transaction Matching Jobs

1. From the Home page, select Application, and then Jobs.
2. Click the Transaction Matching tab to view the running Transaction Matching jobs.
3. Select the running Auto Match or Purge Transactions job that needs to be canceled. From its Actions menu, select Cancel.
4. In the Confirmation dialog, click OK.

   The Result for this job now shows as Canceling. You can click the link to view the job progress. The system completes the current operation, sets the job status to Cancelled, and then stops further processing. Click Refresh to view the updated job status. When the status shows as Cancelled, click the link to view the log file for this job.
