Using Transaction Matching Assistance

Transaction Matching Assistance uses Machine Learning algorithms to predict potential matches for unmatched transactions in a match type.

Note:

This feature is only available on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Enterprise Cloud Service environments.

Prerequisites

The Enable Predictive AI configuration setting must be enabled. See Configuring Artificial Intelligence Settings.

Steps to Use Transaction Matching Assistance

1. Train a prediction model for the required match type by using your historical manual match data.

   See Training Match Predictions with Transaction Matching Assistance.

2. Import transactions and then run Auto Match.

   After Auto Match completes successfully, a Predict Match job is run automatically. The prediction model trained in the previous step is used to generate predictions on potential matches for unmatched transactions.

3. Predict matches for one or more unmatched transactions. Then, review the predicted matches, and take the necessary actions. You can choose to confirm or discard a predicted match.

Note:

Transaction Matching Assistance can be used to make predictions for 1 to 1 matches only.
