Automatic Availability of Frequently Refreshed Data in the Semantic Model
Certain frequently refreshed data is automatically made available in the semantic model after the completion of the frequent data refresh process.
The frequently refreshed data is automatically available in the semantic model in
these scenarios:
- When you enable frequent data refresh on functional areas and want to display the frequent data refresh supported prebuilt facts and adjoined prebuilt degenerate dimensions. To display the frequently refreshed data for prebuilt conformed frequent refresh supported dimensions, manually add the object to the semantic model.
- When you enable frequent data refresh for the Configurable Account Analysis (CAA) and Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) custom data configurations.
- When you enable frequent data refresh on the extended prebuilt fact or adjoined degenerate dimension of a new data augmentations dataset. In this scenario, the prebuilt fact or adjoined degenerate dimension is already extended in the semantic model and you enable frequent data refresh on the functional area of the extended fact.
- When you enable frequent data refresh on the extended prebuilt fact or adjoined degenerate dimension of an existing data augmentation. In this scenario, you enable frequent data refresh on the target table of the data augmentation extend entity. You extend the prebuilt fact or adjoined degenerate dimension using a data augmentation and enable frequent data refresh on the functional area of the data augmentation of the extended entity fact.
