Manual Addition of Frequently Refreshed Data in the Semantic Model

Certain frequently refreshed data isn't automatically made available in the semantic model after the completion of the Frequent Refresh process. You can add such data manually in the semantic model.

You can manually add the frequently refreshed data in the semantic model in these scenarios:

• When you enable frequent data refresh on functional areas and want to display the frequently refreshed prebuilt conformed dimensions.
• When you enable frequent data refresh on the target table of a new data augmentation dataset that has been extended or utilized in a semantic model customization such as custom fact, custom dimension, extend prebuilt or custom confirmed dimension, and extend custom fact.
• When you enable frequent data refresh on the target table of an existing data augmentation such as extend entity on confirmed dimension, create dimension, and create fact.
