Configure the Inline Dataset for the Asset Category Dimension

Use these steps to configure the inline dataset for the category dimension.

1. Edit the EBS_CONFIG DA Script application.

2. Navigate to the Functional_configurations.hrf  →  FILE_FA_CATEGORY_SEGMENT_CONFIG_ORA inline dataset.

3. Enter the mapping between the EBS Asset Category KFF segments and the warehouse Asset Category dimension columns.

4. Populate the MAJOR_CATEGORY and MINOR_CATEGORY columns with the KFF segment numbers that represent the major and minor asset categories.

5. Populate the SEG1 through SEG7 columns with the corresponding EBS KFF segment numbers.

6. Leave any unmapped fields blank.

7. Save the inline dataset.
