About the Mapping File for the Asset Category Dimension

The FILE_FA_CATEGORY_SEGMENT_CONFIG_ORA inline dataset defines the mapping between the Asset Category KFF segments in Oracle E-Business Suite and the Asset Category dimension columns in the analytics warehouse.

The mapping includes:

• MAJOR_CATEGORY – Specifies the KFF segment that represents the major asset category.

• MINOR_CATEGORY – Specifies the KFF segment that represents the minor asset category.

• SEG1 through SEG7 – Map the EBS KFF segments to the corresponding segment columns in the DW_EB_X_EBS_FA_W_ASSET_CATEGORY_D dimension table.

Leave any field blank if no mapping is required.
