Asset Category Dimension Configuration

Asset Category in the Oracle E-Business Suite Fixed Assets application is defined using a Key Flexfield (KFF). Because the KFF can be configured differently for each implementation, the segment used to represent asset category attributes may vary across source systems.

The FILE_FA_CATEGORY_SEGMENT_CONFIG_ORA inline dataset is used to map the Asset Category KFF segments in EBS to the corresponding columns in the Asset Category dimension (DW_EB_X_EBS_FA_W_ASSET_CATEGORY_D) in Oracle E-Business Suite Data Intelligence.

Important: Configure this inline dataset before deploying the EBS_FA DA Script application. During pipeline execution, this configuration determines which EBS KFF segments are loaded into the corresponding columns of the Asset Category dimension.
