Domain Mapping Process in the EBS Data Intelligence Solution

The following process describes how domain mappings are configured and maintained in Oracle E-Business Suite Data Intelligence:

  1. Source domain values are extracted into the Autonomous AI Lakehouse using the SDE Domain Member Mapping HRFs.

  2. The EBS_CONFIG DA Script application provides seeded domain member mappings through inline domain datasets.

  3. During the initial deployment, the seeded mappings are loaded into the data warehouse.

  4. To add new domain members or modify existing mappings, update the appropriate inline dataset in the EBS_CONFIG DA Script application.

  5. After the configuration changes are deployed and the data load pipelines are executed, the updated domain member mappings are propagated to the data warehouse and become available for reporting and analytics.
