Project Expenditure Fact

The Project Expenditure Fact table (W_PROJ_EXP_LINE_F) is populated from the PA_EXPENDITURE_ITEMS_ALL table and contains expenditure transactions prior to cost distribution.

This fact is intended for organizations that do not distribute project expenditures on a daily basis but require near real-time reporting on expenditure activity.

Unlike the Cost Fact:

• Expenditure records do not contain a General Ledger (GL) Date.

• GL accounting information is assigned only during the cost distribution process.

• Consequently, expenditure data can be analyzed using the Enterprise Calendar, but not the GL Calendar.

• Expenditure transactions also cannot be analyzed by GL Account, since the GL account is assigned only after distribution.
