Enable and Configure Autosave
The autosave feature provides a safeguard against unexpected events that may cause the application to close before you have saved your work. Autosave is enabled by default.
Use this procedure to either disable autosave or adjust the save interval.
Autosave does not save file attachment changes, such as uploading files, attaching files to articles, and removing attached files from articles.
-
Navigate to Authoring > Tools > System > Configuration > Auto Save.
-
Enable or disable the autosave feature by selecting or clearing the check box.
-
Enter the interval, in seconds, for the application to create autosaved files for unsaved articles.
The default is 30 seconds.
When enabled, Knowledge Advanced displays a list of an author's autosaved articles on the Content tab.
The autosave feature also applies to the side-by-side translation process. Translation process autosaved files also appear in the list of autosaved articles on the Content tab.
