Overview of Opportunities

An opportunity is a record in B2C Service Opportunity Tracking (Opportunity Tracking) that contains information about a specific sale or a pending deal.

In essence, opportunities are the building blocks of your sales operation for collecting general sales information, following sales strategies, setting forecasts, and preparing and sending quotes to customers. The information that is collected during the sales cycle can be processed by B2C Service Analytics (Analytics) to help managers identify trends and forecast sales periods and to help you meet or exceed your quota.
