Create a Desktop Workflow

B2C Service provides an intuitive graphical interface for creating and editing desktop workflows. When designing a workflow, you can drag elements from the Home or Insert tab and order them on the canvas.

  1. Click Configuration on the navigation pane.
  2. Expand Application Appearance, and then double-click Workspaces/Workflows. The Workspaces/Workflows explorer opens on the content pane.
    Note: If the Desktop Workflow feature is not enabled on your site, you will see only Workspaces listed in the Application Appearance folder. To enable desktop workflows, contact your Oracle account manager.
  3. Click New Workflow on the ribbon to open a new desktop workflow with a blank design canvas.
  4. To design the flow diagram, see How You Design a Flow Diagram.
  5. Click Save on the Quick Access toolbar to save the desktop workflow. The Save As window opens.
    Note: Before saving, B2C Service automatically validates your flow diagram and reports any errors. Click Cancel to correct errors before saving or click Continue to save the flow in its current state. However, the workflow will not function properly until all validation errors are corrected.
  6. Select the folder you want to save the desktop workflow in and enter the name of the desktop workflow in the Name field.
  7. Click Save.
