Enter Data into Article Fields

The required and optional content that you need to enter to create an article varies, depending on the content type that you create. The content type definition also controls what type of content you can enter in each part of the article, and the amount of control you have over formatting that content. Knowledge Advanced provides predefined content types, and administrators can also define content types to meet your organization's requirements. If your organization has migrated a B2C Service Knowledge Foundation knowledge base, administrators can define content types in Knowledge Advanced to support the migration.
