Enable Creating a Quote Automatically from an Opportunity

Set up automatic quote creation to let your salespeople use the auto-generated quotes when negotiating and closing the deals with customers.

The process adds products automatically and generates quotes for opportunities.

Prerequisites

For a quote to be created successfully by the automatic process, ensure that:

• The opportunities have one or more revenue lines.
• The products or revenue lines are mapped accurately between sales and Oracle CPQ.
• The opportunity doesn’t already have a quote associated with it.
• The routine rules are defined accurately by selecting the appropriate attributes and attribute values.
• The approval of quotes in Oracle CPQ isn't set to manual approval.
• You've performed the setups described earlier in this guide in Oracle Sales Configuration Steps and Oracle CPQ Configuration Steps.
