Setting Up Renewal Opportunities
Oracle CPQ checks for subscriptions that are due to expire soon and automatically creates quotes of type Renewal, which in turn create the Renewal opportunities.
These renewal opportunities from Oracle CPQ appear in the Opportunities list of the sales application. However, for your users to distinguish these opportunities as renewals, you must enable the settings listed in this table:

Add the Opportunity Type attribute to the custom Landing, Creation, and Details layouts |

Add the Revenue Type Category attribute to the Products section of the custom Creation and Details layout of Opportunity Note: The Revenue Type Category will be set to Renew, based
on the renewal quote information provided by the Oracle CPQ.
