Java Runtime Environment and EPM Automate

Installing EPM Automate on Windows installs the required Java Development Kit (JDK). However, a JDK is not included in the Linux, Unix, and macOS X installers. You must have access to a JDK installation (version 21, although version 17 is still supported) to use EPM Automate.

You are entitled to use Oracle Java Standard Edition (SE) with EPM Automate without the need to separately purchase a Java SE subscription.
