Windows Instructions

By default, EPM Automate is installed in the Program Files\Oracle\EPM Automate folder. Because Program Files is a protected folder where only the users belonging to the Administrators Windows group have full control, you must be a member of the Administrators Windows group to install EPM Automate..

By default, EPM Automate stores log files, files downloaded using commands, user preferences, encrypted password files, and other runtime files in ProgramData\Oracle\EPM Automate folder.

Note:

If EPM Automate is currently installed in a custom location, you can upgrade it using the upgrade command. However, the upgraded EPM Automate will look for required files (for example, user preferences, encrypted password file, and other runtime files) in ProgramData\Oracle\EPM Automate if you do not specify a fully-qualified file path in the command.

To install EPM Automate:

  1. Using a browser, access an environment from the Windows computer where you want to install EPM Automate.
