Assigning Roles Using Oracle Cloud Console (IAM)

Assign predefined roles to your users in Oracle Cloud Console (IAM).

To assign roles to users:

  1. Sign into Oracle Cloud Console (IAM) as an Identity Domain Administrator. See Accessing the Oracle Cloud Console (IAM).
  2. Click Oracle Cloud Services under Identity Domain.

    A list of available Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud environments is displayed.

  3. Click the name of the EPM Cloud environment for which you want to assign predefined roles to users.

  4. Click Application Roles under Resources.

  5. Click the down arrow next to the role you want to assign.
  6. Click Manage next to Assigned users.

  7. Click Show available users.

  8. Select the users you want to assign to the current predefined role.

    To search for a user, click the text box, enter all or part of the beginning of the user name, first name, or last name of the user, and then press Enter.

  9. Click Assign.

    Since you have directly assigned them to the predefined role, they will be be listed as Direct Member type.
