Accessing and Managing the Machine Learning Property Files

To access the machine learning properties files:

  1. On the Narrative Reporting Home Page, select Tools, then select Machine Learning Files.

  2. In the Machine Learning Files page, five built-in (product-shipped) machine learning (ML) template files: three files for the three narrative generation use cases, one file for the Dual Causality Analysis, and one file for Notes Summarization are present.

To create a custom template, download a pre-seeded template, modify it, and upload it back as a custom template:

  1. Select the desired pre-built template, click Actions, and then select Download.
  2. Open the downloaded template file in a text editor, make the required changes, and the save the file.
  3. For the selected pre-built template, click Actions, and then select Create Custom Template.
  4. In the Create Custom Template dialog box, enter a name. You can optionally add a description for the custom template.
  5. Click Browse and select the modified template file from your local system, and then click OK to upload it.

To manage the custom template files, select a template file, and then from the Actions menu:

  • Make Default – Makes the selected template the default for Narrative Generation or Notes Summarization (where applicable).
  • Edit – Edits the template name and description.
  • Delete – Deletes the template file.
  • Reset to Seeded Content – Resets the template content to the original default pre-built template.
  • Upload – Uploads a modified template file for the selected use case type.
  • Download – Downloads the template file to your local system so it can be viewed, edited in a text editor, and uploaded back to the service.
  • Refresh – Refreshes the Machine Learning Files page.

Note:

  • If multiple template files are selected, you can download a ZIP of the selected files using Actions > Download.
  • If no template files are selected, use Actions > Download All Custom to download a ZIP containing all custom templates.
  • If no template files are selected, use Actions > Upload to upload a ZIP containing multiple template files.
