Notes

Notes return Note text based on the selected Note Format, the Named POV defined in a report, and the selected Note Template. The Notes text function can only be inserted into a text box, not a grid text cell. If your instance has Generative AI (GenAI) enabled, you can optionally summarize the Notes returned in a Note text box.

Syntax:

Notes (Note Format, Named POV, Note Template, Summarize Notes)

• Note Formats are defined in the Note Format Manager in the Notes Manager. For more information, see Working with Note Formats.

• Named POVs are defined in the report where the text function will be inserted. For more information, see Working with Named POVs in a Report.

• You can select a Note Template or choose to display all Note Templates.

• Summarize Notes (optional): set to either true or false.
