Client and extension deployment	Install the current Oracle Smart View for Office client and any required extensions such as Narrative Reporting or Planning Admin extensions under the customer’s standard Office deployment model.
EPM connectivity	Set up Smart View private/shared connections to the relevant EPM business processes and validate user roles, data grants, form access, and ad hoc permissions.
Prediction setup	Configure IPM, Auto Predict, or Advanced Predictions in EPM before expecting Smart View users to consume or compare prediction results.
User guidance	Train users that Smart View is an analysis/consumption surface for documented predictive workflows and EPM outputs; direct GenAI configuration and review remains in the EPM/EDM UI or Fusion AI Studio where documented.
