What You Can Do Through Smart View

With Oracle Smart View for Office, you can:

• Use and manage IPM Insights in Smart View. See Using IPM Insights in Smart View in Working with Oracle Smart View for Office.

• Use Auto Predict output and Advanced Predictions in Smart View. Note that Advanced Predictions explainability is available only for forms in Smart View. It is not available in ad hoc grids. See Using Advanced Predictions in Smart View in Working with Oracle Smart View for Office.

• Use Smart View and extensions to interact with EPM reports, books, and refreshable EPM content. This supports distribution and analysis workflows around predictive or GenAI-produced EPM outputs, even when the GenAI generation itself happens in the EPM web UI.
