About Smart View Extensions

Oracle Smart View for Office works with several EPM Cloud and EPM System extensions, along with Oracle Essbase cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition extensions.

The Extensions tab of the Smart View Options dialog lists the extensions that are currently installed on your computer, and provides options for installing, updating, and removing extensions, described in this chapter.

From Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, complete these tasks in the Extensions tab:

• Working with Extension Alerts

• Initially Checking for Available Extensions

• Installing Extensions

• Updating Extensions

• Enabling Logging for Extension Installations

• Overriding the Default URL for the Extension Download

• Enabling and Disabling Extensions

• Adjusting Display when Working with Extensions
