Previewing POV in Reports

Previewing the POV gives you the ability to control and edit it before inserting a report.

When you insert a report from Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management, you can preview and set the POV.

Previewing POV is available if it is enabled in the user preferences for Reports in the web application of your business process. To enable previewing POV, go to Tools, User Preferences, and select the Preview POV check box in the Reports tab.

To preview and select the POV when inserting a report:
  1. In the Select POV dialog box, view the default POV specified for the report and click OK if you want to proceed inserting the report without changing the POV.

    Note:

    If you click Cancel in the Select POV dialog box, the insert process is cancelled and the report is not inserted in to Smart View.

  2. To edit the POV of the report, select a value in the dimension drop-down list.
  3. If the ellipses option ellipses menu is present next to the dimension drop-down list, then click it to open the Member Selection dialog box, make your POV selection, and click OK.

    The availability of the ellipses option to select members using the Member Selection depends on how the POV is set while designing the report.

  4. Click OK in the Select POV dialog box.

    The report is rendered as per the selected POV.
