What's Not Migrated
The following are not migrated, if the cloud account and IAM domain of the new environment are not the same as the cloud account and IAM domain of the source environment:
- Passwords of the users migrated to the new cloud account and IAM domain.
After the migration, users will receive password reset (Activate Your Account) emails prompting them to sign into the target environments. Users can set their new passwords to be the same as their current passwords in the source.
- The Identity Domain Administrator role assignment.
Users with only the Identity Domain Administrator role assignment in the source environment are not migrated to the cloud account and IAM domain of the target environment. Users assigned to a combination of Identity Domain Administrator role and predefined roles in the source environment are migrated. However, these users are assigned only to their predefined roles in the target environment; they will not be assigned to the Identity Domain Administrator role in the target domain.
- Users who belong only to the Administrators IDCS group in the identity
domain of the source environment will not be migrated. Such users will be migrated
only if they satisfy one of these conditions:
- They are members of other IDCS groups that are assigned a predefined role in the source environment.
- They are directly assigned a predefined role.
Any predefined role granted to them through their membership in the Administrators IDCS group in the source domain will not be assigned in the target domain; they will receive only those roles assigned directly or through other IDCS groups.
