Availability of Generative AI

Some Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management business processes use Oracle AI (Generative AI ) to provide more business value. However, this feature is not available in all regions. The availability of Oracle AI depends on the location of the IAM instance for your environments, not the location of the environments themselves. If your IAM instance is located in one of the following regions, Oracle AI is available for your environments.

The location of the IAM instance determines the LLM processing for the region. Refer to the Oracle Support article Fusion Generative AI Data Center Region Availability (Doc ID 2991131.1) to identify where the LLM processing occurs for the region where your IAM instance is located.

Note:

Sometimes, your IAM instance may not be located in the default region identified in Table 2-1. The location of the IAM instance is displayed at the top right corner of the Oracle Cloud Console (IAM).
