Creating Shared Variable Lists

To create a shared variable list, perform the following steps:

1. From the Welcome Panel on the Home page, click , and then click .

   Alternatively, you can select Tools, and then click Variables.

2. In Manage Variable Lists, click .
3. Define the variable list, as follows:
   1. Enter a Name for the variable list.

      The name must be unique and should be descriptive of the list to make it easier to find.

   2. Optional: Enter a Description for the variable list.
   3. Optional: You can rename the Value Set 1 by clicking Value Sets, and then editing the value in the name. Once saved, the value set cannot be renamed.
4. To add Variables to the Variable List:
   1. To add a new variable to the variable list, click .
   2. Enter the Name and Description for the variable.

      The name must be unique within the variable list and should be descriptive of the variable to make it easier to find.

   3. Enter a value for each value set.

      The values can have a maximum size of 255 characters.

   4. Click Save.

      A Variable List can have a maximum of 100 variables.
