About Analyzing Calculations 2.0

Analyzing calculations using the 2.0 Calculation Analysis screens has the same functionality as the original 1.0 screens, but it provides a more modern and updated user interface with more streamlined actions.

Note:

Calculation Analysis 2.0 is the default view. If desired, you can temporarily revert to the original Calculation Analysis 1.0 screens by entering an EPCM_CALCANALYSIS_UI substitution variable to specify 1.0.

Starting in the July 2026 release (26.07), the original Calculation Analysis 1.0 screens will no longer be available.

To temporarily revert to the original Calculation Analysis 1.0 screens:

  1. From the Home page, select Tools, and then Variables.

  2. On the Variables tab, click Substitution Variables, and then click the plus sign to define a new variable.

  3. Leave the Cube field set to All Cubes, and enter the EPCM_CALCANALYSIS_UI substitution variable for Calculation Analysis 1.0 screens as follows:

Note:

These substitution variables are applicable to all users (they are not user-level preferences).
