About Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) Agent

PCM Agent is a guided natural language tool that uses Generative AI (GenAI) to assist with workflow tasks by executing confirmed modeling commands.

Note:

In this release, there are two versions of PCM Agent available.

  • The original PCM Agent has its own separate interface, and can be accessed from the PCM Agent card on the Home page and from the Modeling Cluster. See Accessing the Original PCM Agent and Working with the Original PCM Agent.

  • The enhanced PCM Agent is embedded in all major modeling screens to streamline common modeling tasks. With the redesigned PCM Agent, you are able to interact naturally with the assistant within the current workflow to create and modify models and business rules, run calculations, and perform POV operations, eliminating the need to switch to a separate PCM Agent interface. See Accessing the Enhanced PCM Agent and Working with the Enhanced PCM Agent.

Timeline going forward: In the October update (26.10), the original PCM Agent will no longer be available.

Note:

  • PCM Agent uses generative AI (GenAI). Output from GenAI may not always be factual, accurate, or appropriate for modeling commands. You are responsible for reviewing and using GenAI output at your discretion.
  • PCM Agent supports only the English language.
  • The GenAI feature is available only for OCI environments, and it is not yet available in all OCI regions. To view the regions where it is available, refer to Availability of Generative AI in the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Operations Guide.
