Adding Members to a Dimension

To add a member to a dimension:

  1. From the Home page, select Application, and then Overview.

  2. On the Application page, select the Dimensions tab.

  3. Select a cube, and then click the name of the dimension for which you want to add a member.

  4. On the Edit Member Properties page, perform one of the following tasks:

    • To add a child member, select the parent level member, select the Actions drop-down, and then select Add Child.

    • To add a sibling member, select a member, select the Actions drop-down, and then select Add Sibling.

  5. To set or change member properties, click a cell in the Edit Member Properties grid and make updates.

  6. Optional: To add members to a different dimension, click the arrow next to the dimension name at the top of the Edit Member Properties page, and select another dimension.

  7. Click Save.
