Adding or Editing Attribute Dimension Members

When an attribute dimension is associated with a base dimension, it displays on the Dimensions page in the same way as the base dimension. To view attribute dimensions in the listing, select All in the Cube drop-down list on the main Dimensions page. You can then select the attribute dimension to add or edit attribute dimension members. Review the detailed steps below.

To add or edit attribute dimension members:

1. From the Home page, select Application, and then select Overview.

2. On the Application page, select the Dimensions tab.

3. For Cube, select All.

4. Select an attribute dimension.

5. In Edit Member Properties, perform one of the following tasks:

   • To add a child member, select the parent level member, select the Actions drop-down, and then select Add Child.

   • To add a sibling member, select a member, select the Actions drop-down, and then select Add Sibling.

6. To set or change member properties, click a cell in the Edit Member Properties grid and make updates.

7. Optional: To assign members to a different attribute dimension, click the arrow next to the dimension name at the top of the Edit Member Properties page, and select another attribute dimension.

8. Click Save.

Alternatively, you can select the base dimension on the Dimensions tab, and then select the attribute dimension from the from the drop-down next to the base dimension on the Edit Member Properties page.
