Review the key differences between Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management and Profitability and Cost Management in the tutorial titled Migrating from Profitability and Cost Management to Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management. Once you open the tutorial, navigate to Task 1: Comparing Profitability and Cost Management to Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management.

How do you enable Non-Empty Tuples (NET) in Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management?

To enable NET in Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management:

  1. Ask Support to file a status 60 bug with the development team for the request; include "NET" in the bug subject.

  2. Development generates a UUID key and enters it in the bug. Use this key in a substitution variable that you create to enable NET.

  3. From the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management Home page, select Application, and then Settings.

  4. On the Application Settings page, under Profitability and Cost Management, select Yes in the Allocation Rules Use Non-Empty Tuple drop-down.

  5. Repeat these steps on each pod where you want to enable NET.
