Using PCM Agent to Validate a Model

PCM Agent is a guided natural language tool that uses Generative AI (GenAI) to assist with workflow tasks by executing confirmed modeling commands. See Using Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) Agent.

PCM Agent is embedded in the Designer Mass Edit tab, where you can use it to validate a model. It provides a true converstional experience where you are able to interact naturally with the assistant within the current workflow.

To open PCM Agent and validate a model:

  1. Click More Actions icon at the top of the Mass Edit tab, and then select Ask Oracle.

    PCM Agent is displayed on the left side of the page.

  2. Enter a "validate model" prompt in the Ask Oracle area at the bottom of the page. Valid prompts include:

    • validate model
    • run model validation

    The PCM Agent assistant prompts you with the information required to validate the model.

  3. After you have validated a model, click Refresh at the top right of the Mass Edit tab to display a message that indicated whether the model validated successfully.
