Available Inventory for Work Order Debrief

When you sign in as a mobile worker, Oracle Fusion Field Service automatically loads available inventory from your configured stocking locations in Service Logistics. This ensures you see only relevant items with positive on-hand balances from active stocking locations in Usable condition.

Field Service displays the following details for each inventory record to help you select materials accurately during debrief:

  • Organization identifier
  • Subinventory code
  • Item number and item description
  • Item revision
  • Primary unit of measure
  • Locator
  • Lot number, if applicable
  • Serial numbers, if applicable
  • Item descriptive flexfield (DFF) attributes configured in Fusion
  • Quantity of inventory available in the specified subinventory and locator

During Service Work Order debrief, when you record material usage, the system automatically deducts the used quantity from the on-hand balance in Fusion Inventory.

Note: Inventory refreshes upon sign-in. If balances change in Fusion, sign out and sign in again to reload the latest data.
