Available Inventory for Work Order Debrief
When you sign in as a mobile worker, Oracle Fusion Field Service automatically loads available inventory from your configured stocking locations in Service Logistics. This ensures you see only relevant items with positive on-hand balances from active stocking locations in Usable condition. The application can also proactively evaluate required parts for scheduled activities and identify availability or shortages before work begins.
Field Service displays the following details for each inventory record to help you select materials accurately during debrief:
- Organization identifier
- Subinventory code
- Item number and item description
- Item revision
- Primary unit of measure
- Locator
- Lot number, if applicable
- Serial numbers, if applicable
- Item descriptive flexfield (DFF) attributes configured in Fusion
- Quantity of inventory available in the specified subinventory and locator
During Service Work Order debrief, when you record material usage, the system automatically deducts the used quantity from the on-hand balance in Fusion Inventory.
