Move Reason
You can specify the reasosn for moving an activity manually. This helps your organization understand why you have to make manual changes instead of using the automated routing and optimization features. They can then use this information to improve the operations and routing plans accordingly. You can see the Select Move Reason dialog box, only if your administrator has configured the Move Reasons in the Assignment Assistant section on the Business Rules page.
If you specify a Move Reason while moving an activity, you can see it the on the activity History page. You can also use the Manual Assignment by Users and Manual Assignment Trends reports to understand the reasons and trends. For information about the fields in the Manual Move data set, see the Details and Examples: Manual Move Fields Data Set section in the Configuring Applications guide.
You can exclude users that belong to specific user types by providing a Move Reason. For example, contractors need not provide a reason when they move activities. You can configure this using the Move Reasons are not applicable for selected User Types field on the Business Rules page.
