Types of Resource Locations

When you open the > Resource Info > Locations page, you see daily locations, temporary resource locations, resource locations, and shared locations.

Here are the definitions of these locations:

Daily Locations: Daily locations indicate the locations at which the resource starts and ends their day. For example, start location is office and end location is home.

Temporary Resource Locations: Temporary locations are the locations at which a resource starts and ends the day for a specified period. When the specified period is over, the resource goes back to their daily locations.

Resource Locations: Resource locations indicate the locations that are specific to the resource. For example, the resource’s residence. When you add this location, you can select it as a daily location.

Shared Locations: Shared locations are the locations that are used by several resources. For example, head office, branch office, warehouse. A shared location is added automatically to a resource. For example, a warehouse that you create at the bucket level is available for the child resources of the bucket as a shared location.
