View Resources in Oracle Fusion Field Service

Use the Field Resources page to get a bird’s eye view of an organization. You can see your organization’s business units, human beings, tools, and vehicles on the Field Resources page. To use the Field Resources page, the user must have access to Fusion Setup and Maintenance. In addition, the user must be assigned a job role that includes the duty role Field Service Manager (code: ORA_FFS_FIELD_SERVICE_MANAGER_DUTY). By default, this duty role is included in the Field Service Manager job role (code: ORA_FFS_FIELD_SERVICE_MANAGER_JOB).

  1. In Fusion Setup and Maintenance, go to Navigator > My Enterprise > Offering Setup. Select the Field Service offering. In the Scheduling and Dispatch functional area, select the Field Resources task. The Field Resources page displays all the Field Service resources, except those of Users/Dispatcher/Admin type.
  2. Filter the resources either by entering a keyword into the Search field or by selecting a preset filter.
    The preset filters are:
    • Status

    • Resource Type
    • User Type
    • Organization
    • Org Unit or Bucket
  3. Click the Calendar icon in the row with resource information to see the resource calendar.
It shows the month grid with working, on-call, and nonworking time for the selected resource, which follow these conventions:
    • The regular working time is marked with blue circle and the start time for the shift.
    • The on-call time is marked with the reddish-brown circle and the start time for shift.
    • The regular nonworking time is shown as a bar of blue color which represents all-day event.
