AI-powered Start of Day Pre-brief

The AI-powered Start of Day Pre-brief capability automatically checks and reserves required parts for mobile workers before the workday begins. The Missing Required Parts section appears on My Route page when required parts for one or more activities in the route are unavailable.

The feature is available only in Oracle Fusion Field Service. You can enable the feature using the Fusion Setup Manager (FSM) flag ORA_FFS_START_OF_DAY_BRIEF.

To support AI-driven inventory checks and reservations, configure required roles, privilege groups, and data access:

1. Create a new role or update an existing role.
2. Set the Role Category to Common – Job Roles.
3. Assign Role Hierarchy:
   • Add the duty role: ORA_DR_FAI_GENERATIVE_AI_AGENT_RUNTIME_DUTY
   • Assign the job role: ORA_SVC_FIELD_SERVICE_TECHNICIAN_JOB
4. Assign Permission Groups:

5. Assign Function Security Policies:
   • RCL_INT_EXT_LOC_MAPPINGS_DETAILS_BY_SERVICE_PRIV
   • INV_VIEW_INVENTORY_ONHAND_BALANCE_WEB_SERVICE_PRIV
   • RCL_TECH_SUBINVENTORIES_DETAILS_BY_SERVICE_PRIV
   • RCL_MANAGE_PART_REQUIREMENTS_BY_SERVICE_PRIV
   • SVC_VIEW_SERVICE_WORK_ORDERS_USING_REST_PRIV
6. Create a data security policy to allow access to work order data:
   1. Create a new data security policy.
   2. Enter a policy name (for example, Grant View Work Order Data).
   3. Select the object Field Service Work Order.
   4. Set access to All values.
   5. Add the following actions:
      • Read
      • View Field Service Work Order
