Parts Catalogs
You can integrate parts catalogs in two ways—by uploading it through ofscPartsCatalog APIs and by connecting to Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics directly and importing the item catalogs. You can see the details of the catalogs only when you register the catalogs on the
page. You can see the Parts Catalog page only if it's added to the Configuration context layout for your user type. Read-write visibility means that you can assign specific user types to catalogs. Read-only visibility means that you can only view catalogs and their parameters.
You can also see the Parts Catalog page:
- If you've Read-write access to the Inventory types page. In this case Parts Catalog has Read-write visibility.
- If you've Read-only access to the Inventory types page. In this case, Parts Catalog has Read-only visibility.
Regardless of the method you choose to integrate parts catalogs, you can view their details and assign them to user types. Here are the tasks you can perform on the Parts Catalog page:
- Access and configure catalog parameters
- Assign parts catalogs to user types
You can view the details of the assigned and unassigned user types for parts catalogs in the Configuration History report.
You can delete a parts catalog if it’s not in use or if it’s not configured properly. To delete a parts catalog, click the actions icon and then click Delete.
