Use Oracle Maintenance Work Order Fields in Fusion Field Service

You can make the Maintenance Work Order and Maintenance Operation data from Oracle Maintenance visible within Fusion Field Service using the native interaction. You can configure which standard fields and Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs) appear on Fusion Field Service pages. These fields can appear without you creating custom properties or build field maps or synchronization flows using Oracle Integration.

Important: This information only applies to Oracle Fusion Field Service environments. You can verify whether you've Oracle Fusion Field Service or Oracle Field Service, by signing in and checking on the About page.

Administrators can simply reference a Maintenance Work Order ID and Maintenance Operation ID in an activity, then enable and configure screen visibility in Fusion Field Service. No synchronization, or data duplication is required. This capability benefits all work types, including corrective, preventive, inspection, and asset-driven service. For example, Telecommunications teams inspecting network infrastructure, such as fiber distribution hubs, can view work order descriptions, priorities, operation steps, and relevant DFFs in Fusion Field Service. This helps mobile workers record measurements and observations with no dependencies. In a utilities setting, teams performing equipment checks on substations or transformers can display the same maintenance attributes on Fusion Field Service pages, enabling mobile workers to update Work Order DFFs with inspection notes or readings.
