-
Configure the Oracle Integration flow to correctly propagate statuses when an
activity is completed, the Maintenance Work Order is canceled, and so on.
-
To use the native completion flow, which completes the operation when activity
is completed, make sure that the feature Complete Maintenance
Operation in Field Service is enabled in the Functional Setup
Manager. To verify whether the feature Complete Maintenance Operation
in Field Service is enabled:
-
Go to Navigator > Setup and
Maintenance.
-
Select Offerings from the
Actions menu.
-
Select Field Service and click Opt In
Features on the right of the page.
-
Select the pencil icon in the Features column in the Field Service
row.
-
Make sure that the feature Complete Maintenance Operation in
Field Service is enabled.
-
Configure the required pages such as Activity Details or
Start Activity in Oracle Fusion Field Service
and select the fields from the Work Order/Operation that should be shown.
-
When you create an activity in Oracle Fusion Field Service, set the
Maintenance Work Order ID and Maintenance Operation ID at the activity level.
You can do this using Oracle Integration or APIs.
After you complete this procedure, fields of the corresponding Work Order or
Operation automatically show on the Activity Details page
(or other configured pages). If the field is set as read-write, any data entered
is saved directly to the Work Order or Operation. Only Maintenance Work Order
DFFs and Maintenance Work Order Operation DFFs can be changed this way.
