Add a Warehouse Resource

You must create a warehouse resource, so that you can store equipment and parts in it. Mobile Workers can collect the equipment or parts from the warehouse and install them for a customer.

1. Sign in to Oracle Fusion Field Service as an administrator.
2. Click Resources and then click the plus icon.
3. Complete these fields:
   1. Resource Type: Select the warehouse resource type that you created earlier.
   2. Name: Enter a name for the warehouse.
   3. Active: Select the check box to make the warehouse active. Dispatchers and mobile workers can see only the active warehouses.
   4. Org Unit/Bucket: Select the organization unit or bucket with which the warehouse is associated.
   5. Time Format: Select the format in which you want to display the time for this warehouse.
   6. Date Format: Select the format in which you want to display the date for this warehouse.
   7. Message Language: Select the language in which you want to see the messages for this warehouse. The languages that are available in this list are the ones that are selected on the Display page.
   8. Time Zone: Select the time zone in which the warehouse is located.
4. Click Submit.
   The warehouse resource is created. You can now add inventory to the warehouse manually or using APIs.

   Note: Warehouses aren't displayed on the resource tree within the Dispatch Console, Manage page, or Groups. However, they're visible and can be managed from the Resources page.
